Korean Rom-Com Addiction

I hope it is just a phase but for now, I’m seriously addicted. It started innocently with a feel-good Twenty Five Twenty One ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, but now any Korean rom-com series with an IMDB rating higher than 7.5 I can get hold of, I will watch it.

Over the last month, thanks to covid and my colleague’s spot-on recommendations I have enjoyed, Itaewon Class ⭐️⭐️⭐️, Fight My Way ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, She Was Pretty ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, Romans is a Bonus Book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐ and despite all my reservations, I have even started the 2020 Netflix sensation Crash Landing on You.

The formula is simple as in every rom-com, but the high level of creativity that Korean scriptwriters put in when creating the worlds around a love story makes the viewer’s experience so much more exhilarating. It gives you a high no other TV genre offers.

I’m ashamed to admit that my Korean rom coms screening time in one month amounted to 120 hours. This is how serious the addiction has become.

I watched them all on Netflix.
