⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ How to Be Right by James O’Brien

James O’Brien, the LBC presenter, is known for raising the level of public debate. This book, based on his daily radio show, centres around few key burning issues such as Islam, Brexit, political correctness, LGBT issues, feminism, and Trump. In each chapter, focusing on the transcripts of his phone-ins, O’Brian patiently explains how people have been fooled into thinking the way they do. When they phone in on the show, he quickly reveals obvious inconsistencies, popular misconceptions and embarrassing double standards no-one has ever challenged. He does so by simply asking the right questions. O’Brien is not interested as much in what they think but why they think so. Instead, he tries to understand how people came to the opinion they represent, which in my opinion is the only way for a debate that can actually make a difference.
